Quiz’s, festive wine box, opening times…. All the juicy stuff…
An update on Christmas is at this point probably a little overdue, though the John Lewis adverts are yet to air we wanted to try and inform you of our plans and opening hours.
CHRISTMAS QUIZ /
Kicking off with our now annual Christmas quiz on Monday 18th December at 7.30pm. Hosted by a true legend, George. George joined us last year and hosted our quiz with myself dropping in for the music round, bless him, he did it solely for the receipt of creamy pints. If you didn’t join us last year, this isn’t the Big Six quiz, its a little more fun focused and easy going. We will provide a small meaty based bar snack for quizzers, but out usual Monday offering of exceptional meat & cheese plates and snacks will be available along with pints, wine and top shelf spirits. To book simply head to our website and book for 7.30pm and pop in the notes ‘Christmas Quiz’.
FESTIVE WINE BOX /
Next up we wanted to bring you, our regular people a wine box for your Christmas gatherings. We have been threatening something like this for a while, but we thought we would throw ourself in the ring to compete for your hard earned cash this Christmas. The wine box will cost £150 and will consist of two reds, one orange, one sparkling and two whites. If there is something listed that you would like swapping, we are more than happy to do that (there may be a slight change in price). These wine boxes would be available to collect from Thursday 7th December from COIN. Please see the wines included below:

CHRISTMAS HOURS & FONDUE /
As you will see below our opening hours remain similar over the festive period, with a couple of changes. We will be opening for lunch on Thursday 28th December from 1pm and opening later on both the festive Sundays that are Christmas Eve and NYE, serving food until 8pm. We don’t feel there is a better time of the year to enjoy traditional Swiss fondue than at Christmas. So available on both Christmas Eve & New Years Eve we will be serving our usual Sunday offering of Fondue and Bloody Mary’s, because we all know you are already sick of the Turkey. New years day will be a shorter daytime affair from 1pm to 5pm to come and get your hair of the dog and vitamin C hit, again serving our delicious Bloody Mary’s with a small snack menu available. Bookings can now be made across the Christmas period over on our website.
